Sunday Statements

Hello all!

I miss you guys!  I feel like my blog has been nothing but book blitzes, giveaways, and cover reveals.  This was partially because I wanted to keep the content going during my first week back to classes and partially because I'm a slow reader during the school year.

So far, the new year is off to a great start.  I was surprised to hear that several of the students that I had last year were very excited to have me again this year.  I'm so happy that they are happy to have me!

Right now, I am halfway through Maplecroft by Cherie Priest, so expect that review to be up soon.  I have two ARCs that I'm hoping to finish by September 20, so keep an eye out for those as well.  This week, there will be more book blitzes and such.  I am really excited for the upcoming events.  These books look so good!  I can't wait to see them on my shelves, or my kindle.

What's new in your life? Have you been doing anything new?

  1. It's funny, I tend to do most of my reading during work. I just got off vacation, and I thought I was going to spend that free time doing nothing reading. I ended up not reading much at all. I finished the book I'd started before going on vacation, and that was all.

    1. Wow! I think it's funny that as an English teacher, I read less at work than anywhere else. But all of my kids think I am crazy for reading as much as I do.

  2. Don't worry about having to slow down reviews. Believe me I understand, life gets so busy! I'll be happy to at least get 1 maybe 2 reviews a week if I can.
