My Thoughts
I absolutely loved this book.  As the description explains, the illustrator took the original fairy tale, but added her wonderfully detailed illustrations. Without those illustrations, I probably would have rushed through it.  With them, I found myself stopping to admire the enthralling artwork.  Annukka's artwork definitely works to bring the original fairy tale to life.
